Barcelona are set to return for the Brazil international in the new year after having seen a £113m bid for the forward rejected by the Reds in the off-season.
Coutinho has recently returned to form at Anfield after seemingly being distracted by Barca’s interest at the start of the campaign. And while Klopp admits a move away is a possibility, he says he is not thinking about it yet.
Asked what makes him sure Coutinho will still be at Liverpool in February, Klopp said: "Nothing, but I don't think about it. Not one second. I'm not unsure, I'm not sure, I don't think about it."
Coutinho is viewed as the ideal replacement for former Barcelona forward Neymar, who departed the Catalan giants in a world-record £195m switch to Paris Saint-Germain in August.
