However, the Ronaldo has cut a frustrated figure in recent games which has seemingly led the player to making a suggestion to Solskjaer.

ESPN have reported that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has told the Norwegian and the coaching staff that the need team need to move the ball forward quicker in order to get more goals out of him.

United full-back Alex Telles reveals the Portuguese was a bit upset that there weren't any balls going to him on Wednesday.

"So, it was the first time I've played with him," he told TNT Sports.

"Off the pitch, we already have this closer relationship because we speak Portuguese.

"And five minutes before he was a little upset that we didn’t get any balls to him."
