Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly set to propose a swap deal with Barcelona for one of their stars.

The Red Devils have only brought in three signings since Erik ten Hag took over and the new United coach is still eager to bolster his squad.

While Frenkie de Jong has been a big target for the Red Devils, Spanish outlet Sport have reported that United are keen to sign right-back Serginho Dest.

Reports in Spain claim the Catalan outfit are keen to cash in on the United States international, who has not hit the heights since his move from Ajax Amsterdam.

The Spanish publication have reported that the Red Devils could use Diogo Dalot in a deal while a fee around £17million would be enough to get the full-back.

Ten Hag recently revealed that he is on the same page with the board about potential incomings before September 1.

"I'm happy, I think we're cooperating really well. I cannot tell about any individuals, I cannot talk about players under contract at other clubs," he said, as Manchester Evening News.

The Manchester outfit have already signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Erisken and Lisandro Martinez.
