Report: Manchester United set to part ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

The Red Devils suffered a 4-1 loss at the hands of Watford on Saturday evening, leaving the side nine points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.

There have once again been questions on Solskjaer's future after the big defeat, as reports in England claim there was an emergency meeting shortly after the loss.

Renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that they board had finally agreeed to relieve Solskjaer of his duties.

When asked about his future after the game, he told Sky Sports, "It’s a big challenge for everyone at the club, so that’s the big question. But that’s not for here and now.

“I’m working for and with the club - I’ve been here for 18 years - we’ve got good communication and if the club are thinking about doing something, it’s a conversation between us and them.

“The results are not good enough, we know that. We’ve gone 30 games unbeaten away from home and now we lose two on the bounce, conceding four in both of them. So something is definitely wrong.”
