Bayern Munich don't need more attacking options says coach Carlo Ancelotti

There have been suggestions that the Bundesliga champions could return to the transfer market after allowing Mario Gotze to rejoin Borussia Dortmund this week.

Meanwhile, Arjen Robben sustained a groin injury in a pre-season friendly against Lippstadt last weekend, sidelining the Dutch winger for six weeks.

But Ancelotti insists there is enough competition for places in his squad that they don't need to bring in any more cover in attack.

"We are well covered in those positions," the Italian told ESPN FC. "Even with Robben picking up a little injury, he'll be ready for the start of the season, so all positions are really well covered.

"We don't need another player, we are enough and we are competitive."
