Bayern Munich would never allow Robert Lewandowski to join Real Madrid according to Carlo Ancelotti

Ancelotti is quick to point out that Real Madrid have no evident need to add attacking options to their side as they already possess a bevy of top class talent.

The Polish hitman has scored 47 Bundesliga goals since joining Bayern and former Madrid coach Ancelotti is adamant he will remain at the Allianz Arena.

"Real Madrid have a number of fantastic players, like Benzema, Bale and Ronaldo. They don't need Lewandowski as well," Ancelotti said.

"And even if they feel they do need Lewandowski, Bayern will not sell him.

"Why would we sell one of the best strikers in the world? I would not swap Lewandowski for any other striker in the world."
