Juventus boss Massimo Allegri delivers some sage words to wantaway duo

Pogba and Bonucci are widely considered as the best players in their respective positions and have become an integral part of Juve's success in recent years, but they duo have been strongly linked with moves to the English Premier League.

Manchester United are keen on bringing France midfielder Pogba back to the club he famously left on a free transfer, while new Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is known to be a long-term admirer of Italy centre-back Bonucci.

However, Allegri feels both players should think wisely before jumping ship as the Turin giants have returned to the upper echelons of European football, highlighting their Scudetto success and recent high-profile signings.

"I am calm about the English rumours," the Italian told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "Anyone who has the opportunity to leave Juventus has to consider things very carefully, because right now Juve are among the top four European clubs.

"This is not a selling club that just lets its players go. Pogba belongs to Juve and at the end of the day he too will want to win another Scudetto and hopefully the Champions League.

"We have grown in terms of appeal and awareness of our own capabilities. So far our market this summer has been eight out of 10, bringing in players of international pedigree like Medhi Benatia, Dani Alves and Miralem Pjanic."
