Ben Arfa left Ligue 1 side Bordeaux at the end of the 2020/21 season, and is said to be on the radar of a host of clubs in Spain, Italy, and Turkey too.

The 34-year-old is also believed to be "a fan" of the African giants, according to Get French Football News, and club president Hamdi Meddeb is understood to be an admirer of the player, whose father was a Tunisia international back in the day.

It is also suggested, however, that the former Rennes playmaker would prefer to stay in France if possible, with Ben Arfa said to have been in regular contact with Lille president Olivier Letang regarding a potential deal.
