The award winners from the 2020 FIFA Club World cup have been announced, with Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski adding more silverware to his ever-expanding trophy cabinet.

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich claimed a historic sixth trophy of the year on Thursday after recording a 1-0 win over North American champions Tigres in the Club World Cup final, courtesy of a second-half goal from Benjamin Pavard.

Pavard was assisted by Lewandowski for the goal, with the Pole winning his second consecutive Man of the Match award for his performance, earning himself the Alibaba Cloud Match Award and the trophy for the MVP of the Final Match.

The recently crowned Best FIFA Men's Player also walked away as the Player of the Tournament after winning the Golden Ball, ahead of Tigres' Andre-Pierre Gignac, who top-scored at the tournament with three goals, and Joshua Kimmich.

Qatari hosts Al-Duhail, who were eliminated at the first hurdle by African champions Al Ahly, were also recognised by the organisers and walked away with the FIFA Fair Play Trophy.
