Real Madrid: Marcelo dropped after Zinedine Zidane argument

accreditation

Marcelo, 33, was omitted from Los Blancos' squad list ahead of their LaLiga clash against Granada on Thursday, and it has now been claimed that the Brazilian defender was dropped following an argument with Zidane.

According to Goal, the veteran left-back has been frustrated with the French coach's tactics and team selections this season, and his disgruntlement came to the fore during a training session earlier this week.

Marcelo and a number of other senior players are said to be unhappy with the methods deployed by Zidane and there is believed to be a consensus within the squad that the 2017 Best FIFA Men's Coach will leave the club at the end of the season.
