Bale, 31, has been subject of intense media scrutiny in recent weeks after his antics on the bench with the newly crowned LaLiga champions in their 2-0 win over Alaves last week.
It was suggested that Los Blancos are now ready to allow the four-time UEFA Champions League winner to leave the club on a free transfer during the off-season and further questions were raised after Zidane dropped the Wales superstar.
Bale, James Rodriguez and Luka Jovic was all left out of the final matchday squad in the 2-2 draw with relegated Leganes but Zidane maintains it was a 'technical decision.'
"You know what happened with one [James]. The other is a technical decision," Zidane said, as per AS. "As always when I talk about Luka, what I say is that he is young."
The Frenchman who has now won two LaLiga titles and the Champions League three times went on to back the Serbia international forward, who has also been linked with an off-season exit.
"He has talent, but it has been a difficult season for him, especially with injuries. Of course, things that have happened to him, I trust him. We will see next year."
