Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Luis Campos has hit out at the rumours claiming Kylian Mbappe wanted Neymar to be sold.
There have been reports that Neymar and Mbappe do not see eye to eye at the moment, although coach Christopher Galatier has already denied those claims.
Mbappe penned a new three-year deal in the off-season and is now reportedly the French champions' highest earning player this campaign.
Reports claim that one of the incentives in the new contract would be to help the club make big decisions at the club, which fueled rumours about Neymar being sold.
Campos has come out to deny those rumours, insisting that Neymar was always part of the plan for this season.
"No. I even heard that Kylian had demanded that we take Neymar out. No. We count on all three. Last year, Kylian was the best player in the world," Campos said, as per Goal.
"Messi was adapting, Neymar was injured and Kylian held the team together. He is a huge player.
"But Neymar is a very good player, there is no doubt about that. And above all, everything I heard before about him, I must've listened wrong because he always arrives on time. I see a Neymar involved in the team project, in the club project."
