Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has sent a warning to the superstar trio of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

The French tactician has got his team off to a scintillating start this season, with his new-look side having scored a record 24 goals in their opening six Ligue 1 matches.

It has been noted that Galtier has opted for a different approach regarding the rotation of players to that of previous PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino, who rarely made unforced changes to his regular starting XI in Paris.

Despite Neymar already racking up nine goals and six assists in seven games across all competitions, the Brazilian started on the bench in Les Parisiens' match against Nantes on Saturday, and it was Mbappe who made way for the South American in the 63rd minute of their 3-0 win.

Messi has also found himself being substituted off on multiple occasions already this season, with Galtier appearing to be treating all three individuals equally.

In a recent press conference, the French coach sent a warning to his players that they could expect more of this as the team, not individuals, comes first.

"I talked about it twice – once with each of them and once with the whole squad, to tell them that this is how it was going to be and that we had to have the right attitude and accept it," the 56-year-old said, per ESPN.

"You say it's new, but it's an obligation for everyone because of the very busy schedule.

"We play a lot, every three days, then every four days, then there is the World Cup.

"Everyone has to understand that they won't be able to play all the games."
