It is believed the midfielder will sign his Bianconeri contract in the beginning of July, and according to Sky Sports, it will be either a three- or a four-year deal, with a potential option for a further year, although the length of his stay is yet to be finalised.

Manchester City reportedly made an offer to sign the player after the Red Devils confirmed his exit earlier this month.

The Les Bleus star is said to have gone as far as to have a meeting with Citizens manager Pep Guardiola, but ultimately declined to make that move due to the hate he would receive from the red side of Manchester.

He was also linked with transfers to Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, but it now looks like he will be making the switch to Turin as a free agent for the second time in his career.

Pogba also recently came in for some serious criticism when a conversation he had with his former agent, the late Mino Raiola, was revealed in his new documentary The Pogmentary, leaving many close to the team displeased.

In a clip from the documentary, the 29-year-old Pogba could be seen complaining to Raiola that United had offered him a "nothing" contract worth more than £290 000 (R5.6 million) a week for him to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
