While speculation around Kylian Mbappe's future continues, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has made a startling claim about the Paris Saint-Germain youngster's possible move to Los Blancos.

Ancelotti addressed speculation linking his club with the France star in a pre-match press conference ahead of Los Blancos' LaLiga tie against Levante on Sunday, and insisted that he does not care whether or not Mbappe signs for his side before the transfer window closes.

"I don't care what will happen. I have a very good and very strong squad. They give me a lot of happiness. I am focused on that," Ancelotti said, per Goal.

"Let's wait these 10 days and now I am focused on the team that I have.

"This squad, as it is, can compete for any trophy. We have very big stars here. I'm not going to name all of them, but we have a lot of top players. This squad is full of stars.

"We have to work together. The star, if he is able to compete for the others, wins titles."

Meanwhile, PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino is seemingly adamant Mbappe will remain at the French club this season.

"He's working really hard to be ready this season and I see him staying with us this season," Pochettino said ahead of PSG's 4-2 win over Brest on Friday.
