Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar still holds the record for the most expensive signing of all time after the Ligue 1 giants paid FC Barcelona a mouthwatering €222 million (R3.7 billion) for his services back in 2017.

Neymar's teammate Kylian Mbappe is the only player in the top 10 to have made only one transfer in his career, as a result of his €180 million (R3 billion) move from AS Monaco to Les Parisiens in 2018.
