Xavi Hernandez's FC Barcelona have reportedly shortlisted five defensive targets to sign, including a shock Manchester United star.
Various reports in Spain suggest that Barca are still looking to bring in left-back Marcus Alonso from Chelsea, and are also targeting the signing of Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva as their final offensive transfer of the window.
It is now believed they also are looking for a new right-back before the window closes, with Sergino Dest not considered good enough by manager Xavi.

According to journalist Gerard Romero, five players are being considered by the club for that position, including, perhaps surprisingly, Red Devils star Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The Englishman fell out of favour at Old Trafford last season, and his fortunes under new boss Erik ten Hag do not seem to have changed as he is yet to make an appearance in the club's first two Premier League games under the Dutch coach.
Also shortlisted alongside him is his teammate Diogo Dalot. Last week, it was reported that the Old Trafford outfit were in talks with the Blaugrana over the signing of Dest, with the Daily Mail claiming that United are willing to send the Portugal international the other way to complete a deal for the American.
Experienced fullback Thomas Meunier is also said to be an option for Xavi's side, with his name first coming up when Barca failed to secure Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta's services after he signed a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
With Villarreal star Juan Foyth understood to be another candidate for the Catalans, Romero claims that Unai Emery's side could ask for at least €25 million (R415 million) for the Argentine's signature.
The final name on the reported shortlist is believed to be Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong.
