Sudan Premier Football League suspended indefinitely SSFA confirms amid severe political unrest

The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) have confirmed the suspension of the countries top-flight amidst the political unrest in the East-Central African nation.
With the recent uprisings involving mass protests demanding the immediate step-down of Al Bashir and his regime from the rule of the country - an immediate decision has been taken.
SSFA has confirmed the suspension of the league with immediate effect which will come as a huge blow to the nations football development.
Just two years ago the nations most successful club's Al Merriekh and Al Hilal, who share 43 league titles between them - were both disqualified  for the CAF Champions League after FIFA suspended them for government interference.
It's likely to hold a detrimental effect on the Sudani Premier League club's who were in the process of the league title and relegation play-offs.
