Now working as Sundowns' sole head coach, Mokwena enjoyed a decent run of form before the World Cup break, including a Carling Black Label Cup triumph.

Mokwena, along with Manqoba Mngqithi, Steve Komphela and the rest of their technical staff, are enjoying some high profile matches at the Qatari showpiece.

Mokwena shared a short clip on Instagram of him enjoying the action during the opening game of the tournament between Ecuador and hosts Qatar:

The next day, dripped out in a bright orange PUMA crewneck sweater, the Downs mentor watched England's resounding 6-2 win over Iran.

He posted a video where he asks England fans the score prediction before the game kicked off:

Like a true football nerd, Mokwena came had his notepad with him for the engaging clash between the Netherlands and African hopefuls Senegal, which ended 2-0 in favour of the Dutch.

Yesterday, he was enjoying the tactical battle between Japan and Germany, which ended 2-1 in favour of the Japanese underdogs.
