Al Ahly head coach Marcel Koller was overjoyed after securing his first trophy after his side defeated Zamalek in the Egypt Super Cup.
The Red Devils recorded a 2-0 win at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in the United Arab of Emirates, with Bruno Savio and Karim Fouad getting the goals on the night.

The ten-time CAF Champions League winners have now won a record 14th Super Cup title and Koller was pleased with the output from his players.
“We worked hard over the course of the last six weeks, and it paid off tonight,” Koller told Abu Dhabi Sports, as per KingFut.
“Zamalek were pushing for the equaliser in the second half and we were giving away possession. But we quickly made the necessary changes and regained control of the game.
“I haven’t changed my playing style and I always try to impose it regardless of who we come up against. My focus is always on how we play and not how the opposition does.
“Playing in front of fans is a great feeling. This is the first time we have played in front of such a large crowd. Nothing feels better than winning,” he added.
