
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has responded to a fan's petition to get Erling Haaland banned from playing English football.
Haaland has silenced any doubters in his debut season in the Premier League after netting 14 goals in his first eight games.

From the 14 goals, the Norwegian has bagged three hat-tricks, the last of which came against city rivals Manchester United last weekend.
The Mirror have reported that fans a "Petition to get Erling Haaland banned from Association Football because it's just not fair".
Guardiola was asked about the petition at his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon.
"Yeah, it's a joke, Guardiola said while smiling, as per the Mirror.
"it's a joke, it's good."
Guardiola went on to praise Haaland's instinct in front of goal after his superb start to the campaign.
"It is not about disbelief. It is the fact that he has an incredible instinct," he added.
"He has an incredible sense as a striker he goes one second before the ball arrives. These types of player, how can a manager teach him? It is impossible.
"He is a natural. He did it in Norway, Austria [with Red Bull Salzburg], he smells it. Thank you for choosing us [Haaland] we are fortunate to have this talent."
