French giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly furious at Chelsea after a potential deadline-day transfer fell through at the last minute – here is what happened.

Morocco winger Hakim Ziyech was said to be close to joining the Ligue 1 champions on loan for the rest of the season after the 29-year-old flew to Paris to complete a deadline-day move.
After the deadline had passed, however, reports emerged detailing that the Blues had submitted the wrong documents and that the deal could not be completed in time, according to the Daily Mirror.
PSG are expected to launch an appeal to get the transfer over the line, despite the window having come to a close, with the Stamford-Bridge club yet to comment on the saga.
Ziyech has battled for regular game time since joining Chelsea in 2020, and was said to be eager to make a temporary switch to PSG after the Ligue 1 club identified him as a player who could add depth to their squad.
