Reports suggest that Chelsea have come to an agreement with a shock Major League Soccer side to have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang make the move to the United States of America.

Messi's Reps React To Brother's Bizarre Barca Rant

The Gabonese's future at Stamford Bridge seems all but over after the forward was omitted from the Blues’ 2022/23 UEFA Champions League squad for the knockout phase of the tournament.

The 33-year-old marksman was left out to make way for some of the new signings Graham Potter and company made in the January transfer window, and now, according to Relevo, Chelsea are willing to pay the 2017/18 Premier League Golden Boot winner's entire £160 000 (R3.4 million) wages to help facilitate a move to MLS side Los Angeles FC.

Talks between the reigning MLS Cup champions and the Premier League giants have progressed significantly since they began at the beginning of the week, with the two parties set to finalise what is expected to be a five-month loan for Aubameyang.

A move to the MLS would put an end to what has, so far, been a tumultuous spell in west London for the forward.

The African striker was brought in specifically by Thomas Tuchel at the beginning of the season, only for the German tactician to be fired days later, and since his former manager’s departure, the former Gabon captain has not been his usual prolific self, finding the back of the net only three times in 17 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea.

The same report suggests that all that is remaining for Aubameyang's switch to LAFC is for the 2015 CAF African Player of the Year to give the move the green light.
