Salah Makes Champions League History
Eric Bailly, whose career with the Mancunians has been curtailed by injuries, is still technically a United player, but for the duration of the 2022/23 season, the Ivory Coast international has been loaned out to French side Olympique Marseille after being deemed surplus to requirements by new manager Erik ten Hag.
Speaking about his time with the Red Devils recently, the 28-year-old named the two United teammates who blew him away.
"I knew a lot of great players in Manchester," he told French news outlet L'Equipe.
"But if I have to talk about everyone who impressed me, we're never going to finish this interview!
"There was incredible talent, both old and young. Someone like Marcus Rashford really blew me away. Anthony Martial too."
With the Ivorian now plying his trade for Marseille as they look to capture their first league title in 12 years, he was recently joined there by another former United player whose career was hampered by inconsistency in the form of Alexis Sanchez, and the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations winner seemingly could not be happier to once again be playing alongside the Chilean.
"Alexis is passionate, he has the grinta, the energy he gives to the people around him," Bailly added.
"This is what he is demonstrating again here at OM. He too had a difficult time in Manchester.
