Casemiro & Rashford Cement Fourth Spot For In-Form Man Utd
According to The Telegraph, the Red Devils are in discussions with fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace over the possible loan signing of 29-year-old shot-stopper Jack Butland.
The player, who has been capped for England, was once considered among the most promising goalkeepers in the country but has seen his career stagnate since being relegated with Stoke City in 2018.
Butland is currently second choice to Vicente Guaita at Selhurst Park, having made just 17 appearances for the club across all competitions since his arrival in 2020.
Earlier this month, Newcastle United recalled 33-year-old goalkeeper Martin Dubravka from his loan at the Red Devils after he made just two appearances in the first half of the 2022/23 campaign.
Butland, a nine-time Three Lions international, is believed to have been identified as the player who could join United's goalkeeping team, which now consists of David de Gea, Tom Heaton and U21 stopper Nathan Bishop.
