With Paris Saint-Germain reportedly prepared to sell Neymar in the upcoming transfer window, a Premier League giant has emerged as frontrunners to land the Brazilian's signature.
PSG 'Make Decision' On Messi, Neymar & Mbappe
According to Football Insider, Chelsea are leading the race to sign the 31-year-old during the off-season.
Other sides in England's top division have also been made aware of Neymar's availability, but the financial package that would get the attacker out of Paris has reportedly been deemed too high by those clubs.
Although, the west Londoners have been spending big this season, the same report suggests that the skilful winger is currently not the club's top priority in the transfer market.
Les Parisiens are said to be willing to let Neymar go for as little as between £70 million and £80 million (R1.5 billion and R1.7 billion) six years after they made him the most expensive player of all time.
There have been rumours since the beginning of the season that the former Barcelona man has been transfer-listed by the record Ligue 1 champions, but despite the speculation, he has had one of his most productive seasons for the club so far in this campaign, having scored 18 goals and produced 17 assists in just 29 games.
However, he is once again injured, this time with a sprained ankle, ahead of a crucial Le Classique fixture in the league this weekend.
Ramos Forced Into International Retirement?
Couple that with the rumoured tension he has with Kylian Mbappe, and it seems the French league table-toppers have become disillusioned with Brazil's all-time top goalscorer.
