With some believing Kylian Mbappe "fired shots" at teammate Neymar with his recent comments, the Frenchman has now set the record straight regarding those remarks.

Following Paris Saint-Germain's 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash last week, Mbappe urged his teammates to return for the second leg in peak condition by eating and sleeping well.
Mere hours after the Frenchman's advice, his Brazilian co-star Neymar was spotted at a poker tournament before he went on to go grab some McDonald’s in what seemed a purposeful defiance of his teammate.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has, however, denied claims that those remarks were aimed directly at Brazil's all-time joint-top goalscorer.
"[The comments were] for everyone," Ligue 1's joint-top goalscorer this season told Amazon Prime Video.
"For everyone! I've seen people talking about Ney and what happened afterwards... it was not a dig or anything.
"I think in the context we are in now, we need anything but digs.
"It's really advice for everyone because, as I said, when we have everyone, other teams have problems."
The pair have been the subject of a much-publicised feud this season, with multiple reports claiming the stars have not been seeing eye to eye over a number of issues, but Mbappe has also acknowledged Neymar's importance and wished the former Barcelona man a speedy recovery after sustaining an injury during their thrilling 4-3 win over Lille this past weekend.
"I hope Ney will come back soon because he's a vital player for us," the France international added.
