AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly being targeted by two high-profile international sides after their disappointing 2022 FIFA World Cup campaigns.

Both Brazil and Portugal are currently without head coaches, with Tite and Fernando Santos respectively both stepping down after their sides were eliminated in the quarter-finals.

Mourinho 'Conflicted' Over Portugal Job

Mourinho has now reportedly emerged as Portugal's number one target to take over from the departing Santos, although he has never coached on the international scene.

Italian outlet La Repubblica have now reported that Mourinho is also target for the Brazil national side, with a group from the national side to set to hold face to face talks with the Roma manager.

The report adds that Brazilian football federation Ednaldo Rodrigues will also lead the talks with agent Jorge Mendes, who represents the former Manchester United and Real Madrid coach.

Despite leading Roma to the UEFA Europa Conference League title, La Repubblica has reported that Mourinho is not too entirely pleased with in Rome over the past year.

Mourinho is currently back in Portugal to celebrate Christmas with his family before the Serie A season resumes in January.
