A former Bafana Bafana player says he does not understand why Dino Ndlovu has not formed part of the national team on a regular basis for the last three to five years.
Ndlovu has been playing his football abroad for a while now and has done well in countries such as China and Turkey, but he has not convinced senior national team coaches to select him.

Brian Baloyi feels Ndlovu should be a key member of the national team because of the conditions he has played in.
"For me, a player who goes to play in Turkey, Russia and China...that's a player who has a big character and big personality because those are not easy leagues to play in. Sometimes we downplay those countries. I don't understand why in the last three to five years Dino Ndlovu has not been part of the national team. Sometimes a coach can say 'no, he is playing in the second division in Turkey'. But he is playing in a league that's still better than the league here. He goes and plays in China, so that is someone you know that you can take to the harshest environments on the continent," Baloyi said recently during a Hollywoodsbets event.
"If someone is playing in China or Turkey, they have a big character. You can take him to Burundi or South Sudan...you can take him anywhere and he will play. But I guess coaches and people at Safa have their agendas."
