Kaizer Chiefs have had to do without the services of Billiat for their last four matches against Golden Arrows, AmaZulu, Sekhukhune United and Mamelodi Sundowns as the player suffered yet another injury, a problem that has been lingering for the attacker during his time at Chiefs.
His time on the sidelines look set to continue after his coach, Arthur Zwane confirmed that the Zimbabwean is out for the foreseeable future.
"When it comes to Khama, unfortunately, we're not gonna see Khama anytime soon. He's still struggling so we are waiting for the doctor's reports and we'll take it from there," he told the media on Thursday.
Billiat’s latest concern is his sixth known injury since joining the Glamour Boys, meaning the that the attacker has now missed at least 41 games due to injury in his three seasons at Naturena.
Injuries have marred Billiat’s time at the Chloorkop outfit and it appears to have followed him to Naturena, where he has made a total of 125 appearances in five years at Chiefs.
The contract of the 32-year-old is set to expire in June 2023, and it remains to be seen whether he remains at Chiefs beyond the expiry of his deal, given his constant battle with injuries over the last few years.
