Sheppard was standing in for head coach Arthur Zwane, who was feeling under the weather on Wednesday ahead of their Nedbank Cup clash against Casric Stars on Sunday.

Veering off track a bit, ‘Sheppy’ was asked about Chiefs’ continental ambitions, which can be attained by finishing in second spot in the DStv Premiership as well as winning the Nedbank Cup.

The coach in response, made no secret of Amakhosi’s desire to return to the Champions League.
