The likes of Happy Mashiane, Caleb Bimenyimana, and Kamohelo Mahlatsi were all nursing respective injuries. But with Chiefs having returned to training on Thursday, a few days later than their DStv Premiership counterparts who started on Monday last week, Amakhosi seemingly boast a clean bill of health.
“There are no injuries to report except for a bout of flu that has attacked Phathutshedzo Nange and Kgaogelo Sekgota. They will receive the necessary treatment from the medical team and I’m sure they will start training next new week with the team,” the club’s head coach Arthur Zwane told the media department.
Chiefs, who currently find themselves in fourth place on the log standings, take on Golden Arrows on 31 December and are likely to have both Nange and Sekgota back in time for the clash against Abafana Besthende.
