The Glamour Boys lined-up in a star-studded team, including members of the current staff, rolling back the years from goalkeeper Brian Baloyi, Lucas Radebe, Siyabonga Nkosi, head coach Arthur Zwane and his assistant Dillion Sheppard, Reneilwe Letsholonyane, manager Gerald Sibeko, development coaches Ntsie Maphike, Donald 'Ace' Khuse, David Mathebula and Jimmy Jambo, among others.

Motaung says they took the opportunity of the FIFA World Cup break to celebrate the coverage of the showpiece with the pundits at SuperSport International, to bring together legends, after a long time being and also continue to build their relationship with the broadcasting giants.
"It was a great opportunity for the Club to host the calibre of world-class players we had at the Kaizer Chiefs Village," Motaung said via the club's official website.
"It is important for us to continue growing our relationships in world football and all the players who were on the pitch hold a special place in the hearts of football fans globally.
"It was also an opportunity for us to cement even more our very close relationship with our partners, SuperSport, and to celebrate their fantastic FIFA World Cup coverage," she said.
"It was an absolute privilege to host SuperSport’s international and local panellists at the Village, who have kept the continent’s football fans engaged during what has been an enthralling FIFA World Cup," she went on.
"It was also very special to bring together so many of our legends and former players, who have not donned the Chiefs jersey in many years," she added.

Meanwhile, Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jnr, also shared his experience of the occasion.
"Football is one sport that will always unite people and I think for us to turn back the clock, to see also people like coach 'Ace' playing along," Motaung Jnr told the club's media.
"I think for me it's a great day, great initiative and actually, hopefully, not the only one we can do, I think it's amazing, a great experience," he added.
According to Chiefs, the memorable event was also a precursor to the club's 53rd birthday in January next year.
