Chiefs will not be in action until 31 December when they take on Lamontville Golden Arrows.
As a result, many of the clubs local and international players have jetted off for well deserved holidays after a difficult schedule, as players look to recuperate before the resumption of the season.
Coach Arthur Zwane, meanwhile, already has his eyes set on the club’s return.
“We are obviously going on a recess, and we are going to play our first game on the 31st of December, which is unusual because we going to have to keep our boys at bay, keep them focused and because we know at that time of the year, we’ve got bonuses and there’s so much going on, so we want to keep them focused,” Zwane told journalists.
“I’m so happy to be working with these guys, they are very disciplined, they are focused, they know what they want. They are dedicated, they want to succeed, which is very key for me.
“We are definitely going to look for friendlies and if we get competitive friendlies, that will be all good for us.”
