Kaizer Chiefs have already bolstered their squad significantly at the start of the season; however, Amakhosi continue to be linked with a number of players. In light of this, we take a look at the players who have been linked with potential moves to the Glamour Boys.

Amakhosi’s management have thrown their weight behind head coach Arthur Zwane with a big transfer window at the end of the 2021/22 season in hopes of turning the club back into title challengers once again.

Despite the multiple additions to their squad, Chiefs continue to be linked with a number of different players who are touted to make the move to Naturena, but the biggest among them is undoubtedly SuperSport United’s Luke Fleurs.

Fleurs’ club CEO has poured cold water over speculation that the player could move in the current season, revealing that the player still has three-and-a-half years left to run on his deal with Matsatsantsa.

The 22-year-old has been one of the standout players for SuperSport over the last few seasons, so it comes as no surprise that he is understood to have made it to the top of Chiefs’ list in terms of targets.

Meanwhile, other players linked to Chiefs in the last couple of months are the likes of Katlego Otladisa, Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Fabrice Ngoma, Thabo Cele and Junior Sede Dion. Bradley Cross also enjoyed a training stint with Amakhosi.

Chiefs are currently in fourth place in the DStv Premiership, having played 13 games already this season. The Glamour Boys have won six matches, drew three and have lost four times under coach Arthur Zwane this season.
