Leonardo Castro, Daniel Akpeyi and Lebogang Manyama are the only three players from the 15 players released by Chiefs at the end of the season, yet to find new clubs.

Manyama has been linked with and has even trained with his former club in Cape Town City, although a recurring injury has derailed his plans.

Siya sources have confirmed that Castro has returned to his native Colombia in hopes of rekindling his career in his home country.

Meanwhile, Nigerian international Daniel Akpeyi continues to train with Swallows, although it remains to be seen whether he will put pen to paper with the Birds, given their ongoing FIFA transfer ban.

These former Chiefs players have all found teams since leaving Naturena:

Kearyn Baccus   (Macarthur FC)

Lazarous Kambole (Young Africans SC)

Dumisani Zuma (AmaZulu FC)
