
Mamelodi Sundowns are believed to be making plans for the January transfer window and the Siya crew has been informed of the club's interest in a Cape Town City player.
Sundowns are determined to get their hands on the CAF Champions League title, and it's understood that they will make an effort to bring in City striker Khanyisa Mayo, who has been in good form for the Citizens.

After losing Peter Shalulile and Abbubeker Nassir to injury not so long ago, Sundowns are understood to be aware of the fact that they need more firepower upfront. While they do have Gift Motupa and Thabiso Kutumela as options, the Siya crew has been informed that the club feels that they need to do bolster the determined.
Without Shalulile upfront, Cassius Mailula has recently stepped up with the goals for Sundowns, showing that he is definitely one for the future for the Chloorkop outfit.
Mayo is 24 and it's believed that the clubs feels he can grow in the environment at Chloorkop, but it remains to be seen if the Citizens will be willing to let go of the player. Sundowns have done business with City in recent times, signing Lyle Lakay, Kermit Erasmus, Surprise Ralani and Terrence Mashego.

Sundowns are also looking to conquer Africa and want to ensure they have enough in their squad to compete.
