As Orlando Pirates will be expected to make adjustments to the team in the coming weeks, the club might look to further strengthen with no less than two players in January.

Having done so well in completing a busy transfer window for the club by signing Kermit Erasmus from Mamelodi Sundowns, as well as Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Sipho Chaine from Marumo Gallants and Chippa United respectively, the Buccaneers will want to further appease their supporters if one or two quality players are available for the club in the next transfer window.

Erasmus and Ndlondlo have joined the likes of Nkosinathi Sibisi, Miguel Timm and Tapelo Xoki, who are some of the new signings that have done well for Jose Riveiro’s team since the start of the season.

Goalkeeping and upfront are some of the positions that Bucs might look to add, with Richard Ofori proving to be injury-prone again this season after being replaced by Siyabonga Mpontshane in recent matches, while former Royal AM striker Ndumiso Mabena has been training with the side.

AmaZulu and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Veli Mothwa has been a target for Bucs for some time, as reported by the Siya crew although the shot-stopper is contracted to the Durban-based side and part of the plans under new coach Romain Folz, while Mabena is being lined up for a possible return just like Erasmus.
