With Orlando Pirates expected to make changes to their line-up for the next game, a suggestion has been made regarding a key position in coach Jose Riveiro’s team.
The Buccaneers are set to be without their number goalkeeper Richard Ofori for the first time this season on Saturday against Richards Bay FC.

The Ghanaian international is suspended for the clash, as confirmed by the league, after accumulating four yellow cards for the campaign.
Siyabonga Mpontshane, who has been Ofori’s reserve for the better part of the season, could make his first appearance of the season against the high-flying KwaZulu-Natal outfit, while newly signed Sipho Chaine could make the matchday squad for the first time since his arrival on the last day of the transfer window.
Former Pirates goalkeeper Thabang Stemmer says Mpontshane would be the best choice to replace Ofori as the team will be looking for redemption after their disappointing 2-0 loss against Sekhukhune United on Tuesday.
“I think Mpontshane is ready to play although in my opinion both goalkeepers are good. I think both keepers are good and ready and anyone of them can play when needed although I feel that Chaine shouldn’t be rushed,” said Stemmer.

“He should be given enough time to adjust because he has just been signed two weeks ago, I think. In that case, I would opt for Mpontshane to be the one selected to play and Chaine could be introduced gradually,” he said.
