Official: Stellenbosch Sign Royal AM Star

DStv Premiership side Stellenbosch FC have bolstered their squad with the signing of a Royal AM star.

Western Cape outfit have acquired the services of New Zealand striker Andre de Jong after an agreement was reached with Royal AM.

De Jong, who will wear the number 18 jersey, is a welcome addition to the attack after the club parted ways with Judas Moseamedi last month.

“I am very pleased and excited to be joining Stellenbosch FC," De Jong told the club's official website.

"I have always felt that they are a team that plays a positive and entertaining style of football.

“The Club, the administration, coach Steve Barker and the players have all been very welcoming and made me feel right at home already. It’s a beautiful part of the country and I am really looking forward to pulling on the Stellenbosch shirt.”
