EA Sports and FIFA 23 has crossed over with hit TV Show 'Ted Lasso' and one of their fictional characters took on England and Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham.

What's the story?
After the award-winning show 'Ted Lasso' had it's fictional football team, AFC Richmond added to FIFA 23, EA Sports thought it would be a good idea for Phil Dunster's Jamie Tartt character to test his FIFA skills against Bellingham.
In a fun, skit-like video shared on EA's social media pages, Jamie Tartt valiantly took on the Borussia Dortmund star in a FIFA 23 game using AFC Richmond.

Jamie Tartt vs Jude Bellingham
Jude Bellingham not only put his FIFA skills to the test but also his acting, after a video of him taking on Phil Dunster's character on Ted Lasso was shared by EA Sports.
Bellingham, using his club Dortmund, went up against Tartt who used AFC Richmond, in a competitive game of FIFA.
After getting off to a brilliant start, earning a quick 2-0 lead, Tartt got ahead of himself against his opponent who was complaining about the controller.
Like he would in a real-life game, Bellingham kept his cool and clawed his way back into the game.
When Bellingham took the lead, Tartt was quick to say that the English midfielder is probably spending too much time playing FIFA instead of perfecting his craft on the pitch.

Banter aside, Bellingham went on to show his home-ground dominance by crushing Tartt 7-3 in the game.

When Ted Lasso's AFC Richmond was added to FIFA 23, it made history as the first fictional team to make it onto EA Sports' premiere football game.
The show is also heading into its final season on Apple TV, which could mean that gamers won't see them in the EA Sports FC game.
