What's the story?

In light of Cape Town City's progression into the next round of the CAF Champions League, we take a look at how the Citizens did in the 'pass the phone' challenge. 

Tinkler's tight-knit group produced one of the funniest offerings coming from a sports team including Liverpool and the NBA's Golden State Warriors

The light-hearted clip featured stars such as Khanyisa Mayo and Mpho Makola, who Darren Keet complimented for having the 'best beard in Cape Town'. 

Cape Town City's TikTok challenge

City are not only one of the stronger teams in the DStv Premiership, they're also one of the most consistent when it comes to social media content.

The Citizens' social media team made sure the troops stay on the beat with the online trends by taking part in the 'pass the phone' challenge.

The challenge requires a group of people to pass a phone around and say "I'm passing the phone to someone who" before making a compliment about that person or a light-hearted jab.
