Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola almost stole the limelight from Erling Haaland with an unusual press conference after their UEFA Champions League knockout game, where he listed his Top 3 idols in life and claimed he had failed at the club.
Julia Roberts was named on his list as the Spanish manager recalled the Hollywood star snubbing the blue side of Manchester to visit Manchester united back in 2016.

Man City trounced their German opposition, RB Liepzig in a 7-0 (8-1 aggregate) win, which included a staggering five goals from Norwegian sharp shooter, Erling Haaland.
In the post-match presser, Pep Guardiola sarcastically said that even if he goes on to win City a Champions League title, he'll always be a failure because the 'Pretty Woman' star visited rivals Manchester United instead of the Cityzens:
"Whatever happens in the Champions League this year, winning, even if we win this Champions League, three in a row I'll be a failure," said Guardiola.
"I have three idols in my life: Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods and Julia Roberts. These are my three idols.
"For obvious reasons, Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods and Julia Roberts as well. Julia Roberts came to Manchester, not in the 80s and 90s when [United] were with Sir Alex Ferguson winning titles after titles. She came during the period we were better than United over the last four or five years.
"She went to visit Man United, she didn't come to see us, so that's why even if I win the Champions League, we will not be compared because of the fact that Julia Roberts came to Manchester and didn't come to see us - my idol," he added.

According to Manchester Evening News, the Hollywood icon visited Old Trafford back in 2016, to watch the Red Devils against West Ham.
Her children are reportedly Manchester United fans and were invited onto the pitch, while Roberts mingled with the players.
United responded to Guardiola's tongue in cheek comments by sharing a throwback of Roberts visiting the Theatre of Dreams:

Although Pep did state that Julia Roberts is an idol of his, she could also be one of his celebrity crushes.
Who could blame the man? Roberts was devastatingly gorgeous in 90's classic romantic comedies such as 'Notting Hill' and 'My Best Friend's Wedding' and continued to send hearts racing in 'Oceans Eleven' and 'Duplicity'.
