SL Style Guide: Edmilson Dove

Kaizer Chiefs' new baller has the perfect outfit for one of fashion's favourite seasons, Spring.

Let's get styled!

What's the story?

Edmilson Dove, who recently became eligible to play for his new club Kaizer Chiefs after finally receiving his work permit, has the ideal drip for the start of Spring.

In one of Dove's more recent fit pics, he wore a denim jacket, checkered straight pants, blue and white Nike Dunks, and a basic white top.

A slightly more down-to-earth look for the expressive Mozambican, but it works!

Here's a style guide on how you can replicate this look...

Jacket and pants

Edmilson Dove's outfit features some Spring/Summer must-haves. A denim jacket and funky pants!

Checkered pants are not only easy to style but are the ideal attention-grabbing garment to have in your closet for Spring.

Truworths has a cool pair of slim-fitting check pants for R650. They may not be the same colour as Dove's trousers but they still do the look justice.

For the denim jacket, a trusted item that everyone should have in their closet, Clothing Junction has a light-coloured one for only R199.95.

White top and kicks

Dove's t-shirt appears to have some wording on it, so we'll head in a similar direction for the white t-shirt.

The Fix has you covered with a white 'Culture No Violence' tee for only R99.99.

It's not easy to find a substitute for the flashy Nike Dunk sneakers worn by former Cape Town City star, so we'll find inspiration from the colour blue.

A cool and streetwear-savvy choice is the Navy Old Skool Vans. These kicks are priced at R849 and what makes these historical skate shoes a timeless classic is the different materials on offer.

Suede, cotton, and some rubber outsoles... these durable kicks are ideal for any season.

Have your say on Dove's Spring outfit... is it easy to replicate?
