WAFCON In Focus: Africa's Biggest Female Football Flames

With the Women’s African Cup of Nations in full swing in Morocco, we’re taking a look at some of the game’s coolest female figures as the tournament reaches the end.

South Africa, Tunisia, Senegal, Zambia, Botswana, Nigeria, Cameroon and hosts Morocco were amongst the eight teams that made it through to the quarterfinals of the continental showpiece.

Now, it’s down to just two countries, as South Africa and Morocco go head-to-head in the final of the competition which takes place on Saturday.

While all the talk at the moment is centred around which team will be crowned Africa’s best, a number of players and figures in the ladies’ game have been making their mark off the field, particularly on platforms like TikTok, where they have gained quite the following.
