Morocco made it back-to-back wins in Group K of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers after defeating Liberia 2-0 on Monday night.

The Moroccans came from behind to see off South Africa on Thursday, while Liberia were not in action due to Zimbabwe's suspension.

The North African outfit got the breakthrough on 56 minutes, with Fayçal Fajr converting from the penalty.

The game was seemingly wrapped up a minute later when Youssef En-Nesyri got his second goal of the campaign after being set up by Azzedine Ounahi.

Nigeria showed São Tomé and Príncipe now mercy after netting 10 goals in their second Group A qualifier on Monday afternoon.

The Super Eagles only managed to bag three goals in the first half, with Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon and Terem Moffi getting on the score-sheet.

The visitors took things up a notch in the second half as Osimhen bagged three more goals to complete his four-goal haul on the day.

Meanwhile, Oghenekaro Etebo, Ademola Lookman and Emmanuel Dennis also got their name on the score-sheet in the historic win at the Stade d'Agadir.

Sierra Leone rallied back from two goals down to rescue a point against Guinea-Bissau at the Stade Général Lansana Conte.

The first half ended goalless in Conakry, but a quick-fire brace from Jorginho put the visitors into a two-goal lead.

Things then turned sour for the visitors when Sana Gomes sent off in the 55th minute.

Augustus Kargbo pulled a goal back for the home side with 13 minutes left on the clock, before Musa Kamara snatched the equaliser in the 87th minute.
