Bayern Still Searching For First Win In 2023

Bayern Munich 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurt

Bayern Munich dropped points for the third successive Bundesliga clash after drawing 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday night.

Leroy Sane got Bayern off to the perfect start after opening the scoring with his sixth goal of the campaign on 34 minutes.

Randal Kolo Muani brought Frankfurt level in the 69th minute and set up a nervy final 30 minutes at the Allianz Stadium.

However, there would be no late drama for the defending champions who remain without a win in 2023.

Hertha Berling - Union Berlin

Union Berlin climbed to second spot with a 2-0 win over Hertha Berlin on Saturday afternoon.

Danilho Doekhi opened the scoring in the 44th minute for the visitors, taking his tally to four league goals for the season.

Paul Seguin doubled the lead for Berlin just after the hour mark with his first strike of the campaign.

Freiburg 3-1 Augsburg

Freiburg climbed to fourth spot after defeating Augsburg 3-1 at the Europa-Park Stadion.

Michael Gregoritsch opened the scoring for the hosts, before Mergim Berisha levelled matters for Bremen from the penalty spot.

Freiburg got back in front through Lucas Holer while Philipp Lienhart sealed the win late on.

Werder Bremen 2-1 Wolfsburg

Werder Bremen got back to winning ways in the league with a 2-1 triumph over Wolfsburg.

Niclas Fullkrug contributed with a brace for the home side, who climbed up to 10th spot while Wolfsburg remain in seventh spot.

Mainz 5-2 Bochum

Mainz were in a rampant mood after thrashing relegation-threatened Bochum 5-2 on Saturday.

Karim Onisiwo stole the show by netting a hat-trick, after Jae-Sung Lee and Sivan Widmer had netted for the hosts. 

Pierre Kunde and Erhan Masovic were on target for the away side.

Hoffenheim 4-1 Borussia Monchengladbach

Borussia Monchengladbach got their European push back on track after defeating Hoffenheim 4-1.

Jonas Hofmann netted a brace to put his two goals, before Ihlas Bebou pulled one back for Hoffenheim on 80 minutes.

Lars Stindl added a third for the visitors three minutes later, before  Hannes Wolf rounded off the scoring in time added on.
