The first side to be relegated from the English Premier League has now been confirmed after Saturday's encounters were concluded.

Huddersfield Town became the first side to be relegated to the Championship following a 2-0 loss to Crystal Palace.
 
Palace got the opening goal from the penalty spot in the 76th minute, with captain Luka Milivojevic slotting home from 12-yards out before Patrick van Aanholt sealed the win with two minutes remaining.
 
As a result, Huddersfield have been relegated with six games to go, which equals a Premier League record held by Derby County and Ipswich Town.
 
Brighton and Hove Albion 0-1 Southampton
 
Southampton boosted their survival hopes with a 1-0 victory away to Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
 
Pierre-Emile got the game's goal only in the 53rd minute as the Saints moved up to 16th spot.
 
Burnley 2-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers
 
Burnley moved five points clear of the relegation zone after defeating Wolves 2-0 at Turf Moor.
 
The hosts broke the deadlock after just two minutes through Conor Coady's own goal before Dwight McNeil sealed the win in the 77th minute.
 
Leicester City 2-0 Bournemouth
 
Brendan Rodgers guided Leicester City to a third straight win after defeating Bournemouth at the King Power Stadium.
 
Captain Wes Morgan opened the scoring with a neat flick on 11 minutes, before Jamie Vardy sealed the win with eight minutes remaining in the second half.
