Chelsea 2-2 Everton

Chelsea missed the chance to claim a third successive victory in the Premier League after drawing 2-2 with Everton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

After a scoreless first half, Joao Felix opened the scoring for the Blues in the 52nd minute with a neat finish at the near post, before Abdoulaye Doucouré's towering header restored parity for the visitors.

The hosts looked to be walking away with the win when Kai Havertz converted a penalty after Reece James was fouled by James Tarkowski.

However, the Toffees grabbed the equaliser in the 89th minute courtesy of a composed finish from substitute Ellis Simms.

Southampton 3-3 Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur missed the chance to move third after drawing 3-3 with Southampton.

Antonio Conte's charges got the breakthrough on the stroke of halftime when Pedro Porro got his first goal with a thumping strike, before Che Adams levelled matters after the break.

The North London side then raced into a three-goal lead thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Ivan Perisic.

However, the Saints were not to be outdone as Theo Walcott reduced the deficit on 77 minutes before James Ward-Prowse converted a penalty to rescue a point ni the 93rd minute.

The draw leaves Conte's charges in fourth spot, while the Saints still find themselves bottom of the log, two points adrift of safety.

Aston Villa 3-0 Bournemouth

Aston Villa returned to winning ways in the league by thrashing Bournemouth 3-0 at Villa Park.

Villa took the early lead when Leon Bailey did well to pick out Douglas Luiz for the close-range finish on seven minutes.

Jacob Ramsey doubled the home side's lead on 80 minutes, before Emiliano Buendia wrapped up the victory nine minutes later.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-4 Leeds United

Leeds United boosted their survival hopes with a 4-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The visitors got the breakthrough after just six minutes when Jack Harrison fired past Jose Sa, before Luke Ayling and Rasmus Kristensen made it 3-0.

Jonny Castro and Matheus Cunha brought Wolves back into the contest to make it 3-2, before the former was shown a straight red card on 84 minutes.

The home side sealed the win in second-half stoppage time thanks to a strike from Spain international Rodrigo.

Brentford 1-1 Leicester City

Brentford's European hopes suffered a blow after drawing 1-1 with Leicester City.

The Bees found the opening goal in the 32nd minute when Mathias Jensen pounced on a loose ball in the box and rifled the ball into the back of the net.

Harvey Barnes restored parity for the Foxes shortly after the break, while the home side finished the game with ten men after Shandon Baptiste's late red card.
