The Blaugrana have already welcomed Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie to the club in this transfer window, with both signed on free transfers.
With the likes of Jules Kounde, Robert Lewandowski, Marcos Alonso and Raphinha all reported to be targets for Barca's head coach, the team will need to offload a few players, not just to balance the squad but also the books.
According to Sport, three players expected to be sold before the window closes are back-up goalkeeper Neto, out-of-favour forward Martin Braithwaite and injury-prone centre-back Samuel Umtiti.
After postponing a knee surgery prior to becoming a 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, Umtiti has been plagued by knee injuries since, and having recently signed an extension with the Blaugrana until 2026 to ease the club's financial situation, the Frenchman featured in just one LaLiga game in the 2021/22 campaign.
The same report suggests that Memphis Depay could also be on his way out, despite being the club's top goalscorer last season.
The Dutchman has seen his minutes decline since the Spanish tactician's arrival in the Camp Nou hot seat in November last year, and is thus likely to be sold during this transfer window.
